This note explains how we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
Through the enquiry form we collect your name, email, phone number, business name, the service you asked about, and the message you write. We do not ask for ID numbers, tax numbers, bank details, or statements on this site.
Why we collect it
Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and provide the bookkeeping or administration service you request. We do not sell your information.
Who receives it
Enquiries are emailed to annabelle@asbookkeeping.co.za. The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party form service. If you choose WhatsApp, the message goes to our WhatsApp number.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the period required by tax and company law.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email annabelle@asbookkeeping.co.za or call 083 809 9884.
Do not send sensitive files here
Do not attach bank statements, IDs, or tax certificates to the web form. We will tell you a secure way to send documents after we accept the work.
